NHS Health Checks – Patients registered with Lowther Medical Centre aged 40-74 with no pre-existing condition.
The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40 to 74. It’s designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. An NHS Health Check helps find ways to lower this risk.
You’ll be invited by our Recall team for a free NHS Health Check every 5 years if you’re between 40 and 74 years of age and do NOT already have a pre-existing condition.
These slots are also available to book online – PLEASE ONLY BOOK if:
– You have NOT had a health check within the last 5 years
– Are aged between 40 and 74 years
– Do NOT have a pre-existing condition which is already under review with the Practice
