We welcome to the Practice Dr Sarah Njeri, GP Trainee who joins Dr Emeka Abalu on the GP Trainee Programme. They will both be with us until February 2022. A GP Trainee is a qualified Doctor who spends an additional 3 years in GP Practices and Hospitals to gain further experience to prepare them for life as a GP.
We also welcome Dr Leo Hotchkies, FY2 doctor who will be with us until December 2021. A Foundation doctor (FY1 or FY2 previously known as a house officer) is a qualified Doctor undertaking the Foundation Programme – a two-year, general postgraduate medical training programme which forms the bridge between medical school and specialist/general practice training.
All the trainees have a dedicated GP supervisor at the Practice.
