Lockdown Update

Due to the new Lockdown restrictions which come into effect on Thursday 5 November we need to make some changes as to how we operate to ensure the safety of patients and staff

  • The front door will be locked and an intercom system will be installed.  Please press the button and give your details to the Receptionist on arrival
  • There will be a staff member manning the door and access will only be allowed if a patient has an appointment
  • Patients temperatures will be checked before entering the building
  • Masks / face shields will be enforced, if patient does not wear a face covering, they must wait outside until the clinician is ready to see them and face shield will be provided
  • A one way system will be operation for all staff and patients. In through the front door and out through the fire exit at the back

Shielding has also been re-introduced and we are introducing a shielding system for our patients. If you are a shielding patient and prefer to wait in your car or outside, please inform the Receptionist when you arrive.  (Please note free car parking is available during this period in the car park opposite Lowther Medical Centre)
