We are a training practice and you may be offered an appointment with
- A GP in training. These doctors are fully qualified and will have had experience in several hospital specialties. They are completing their specialist training as a GP.
- An F2 doctor. A Foundation doctor (previously known as a house officer) is a grade of medical practitioner undertaking the Foundation Programme – a two-year, general postgraduate medical training programme which forms the bridge between medical school and specialist/general practice training.
- A medical student. Medical students have supervised appointment slots with their Trainer. The rest of the week they spend time shadowing our team and you may be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student present. You will always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you may ask for the student to withdraw if you prefer to have your consultation in private.
All trainees have a designated GP supervisor
