Flu vaccines for at risk patients aged 18-65

We now have in stock flu vaccines for patients (registered with Lowther Medical Centre) who are under 65 years of age and fall into the risk categories listed below:

  • Are pregnant
  • Have certain medical conditions i.e. chronic respiratory disease, diabetes, neurological, heart, kidney, liver disease, weakened immune system
  • Are very overweight - BMI of 40 or above
  • Living in a residential care home or other long stay facility
  • Receive a carer's allowance, or you are the main Carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill

Please book an 5 minute appointment with our Practice Nurses/HCA via our Reception team

(NB:  We are still awaiting delivery of childhood flu vaccinations)
